Force FC CompetitiveSoccer Program
The Force FC Competitive program is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advanced development of youth soccer in the Monroe-Woodbury area. The competitive program began in 1999 and is thriving today with 20 competitive teams. Our coaches are USSF (United States Soccer Federation) certified and trained by professionals in the field. Our coaches, assistants, board members and boosters are all dedicated volunteers that make our club unique & special. We bring in all the top trainers from the "for profit" soccer clubs to provide the highest level of training available in the new york/new jersey area giving our coaches choices that are not available anywhere else. We encourage and value kids who demonstrate team loyalty, commitment & sportsmanship.
The year is broken down into two seasons, 10 games in the fall and 10 games in the spring. Players and parents need to make a commitment to practice twice a week and a game (normally) on Sunday during the season. During the winter months (January to March), there is indoor practice two days a week which are typically dedicated to team training with a professional trainer. There are 10 games per season of which 5 are in the Monroe-Woodbury vicinity and the other 5 are in Rockland and Bergen Counties. Away games are typically a 25 minute drive with usually a maximum of 45 minutes. As part of the Force FC program, the club also offers a club skills session once a week during the Fall / Indoor / Spring seasons - typically 8-9 sessions per season. These skills sessions are an ideal way for the players to continue to work on the foundation skills and techniques needed to develop to their potential and are included as part of the overall program offered by Force FC. Tournaments are completely at the discretion of the team/club but typically reserved for the holiday weekends. At the younger age groups tournaments are usually at venues that are less than an hour drive.
